Custom Motorbike

I think every one of us likes to have something special, something unique in his possession. Something that no other has. Well, this applies to motorbikes as well. Even if we buy a stock Harley we want to add something to it, change parts, shiny bits, just to make it special, more personal, maybe to express our style or just simply because that's the way we like it. There's a few ways to have a custom motorbike. One is to build one from scratch. If you really know what you're doing and have a well equipped workshop probably this is the cheapest way but if you make mistakes it will cost you a fortune. The second way is to buy a Harley (or other make) and customize it. If you're lucky and get a second hand one for a reasonable price it could work out well but again, you'll have to make sure the ordered parts fit otherwise it will become expensive. The most secure way to have a custom motorcycle is by buying a "Bike in a Box" or other words a "Kit Bike". It's literally a motorbike in a box like the name indicates, you will have to paint it and assemble it. These motorbike parts have been selected by professional bike builders so they match and fit like a puzzle. Give it a nice custom paint job, put it together, fill it up with petrol and you're on your way mate! Obviously you'll need good technical sense and a workshop with tools to do the job yourself or get your trusted motorcycle garage to do it for you. This way you can almost half the costs of having a full custom motorbike compared to get it built from scratch by professional custom bike builders.
